UAAP women's volleyball holds most incredible comeback

The long wait is finally over — The University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) women's volleyball season starts on May 5, continuing the league's Season 84 action. In the first game, the youthful Adamson University team lost in straight sets to the towering National University, 25-15, 25-23, and 25-18.

Meanwhile, Falcons tragically failed to defeat the De La Salle lady spikers in three consecutive sets, 25-21, 25-20, 25-14.

They luckily left the Blue eagles winless on their third game with a score of 23-25, 25-19, 25-15, 25-12, giving them a 2-1 record.

According to Tribune Sports PH, Nique led the Lady Falcons with 32 points in three consecutive games, while Trisha Genesis was held to 22 points, and Lorene Toring finished with 23.

Women's volleyball matches are held at Mall of Asia Arena on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Each game day, all eight teams compete in a quadruple-header.

Unlike the men's basketball competition, which began behind closed doors, the women's volleyball event will be open to the public.

Additionally, fans may watch the games live on One Sports, the UAAP Varsity Channel, Cignal Play, and Smart GigaPlay. As a special surprise for foreign fans, the UAAP Varsity Channel will now be accessible on iWantTFC beginning May 4.
