Adamson University Hosts First Pep Rally in two years

The beat of the drums, games, dances, and cheers slammed the send-off for Adamson’s student-athletes for the much-awaited University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 85 happened yesterday, September 27, 2022, in the St. Vincent Gymnasium at 10:30 A.M.


Reymon Baluyot and Ella Regudo, both 3rd-year Communication students, hosted the event. Fr. Aldrin Suan CM, the UAAP Season 85 president, kick-started the event to feature the season’s theme, “Rise As One.” “We have to endure pressure and physical pain for us to endure as a team,” said Fr, Suan.



The AdU Pep Squad started with the opening number and was followed by the reveal of the new Soaring Falcons logo. One of the primary new features of the logo features a falcon with the shape of a softball.


A total of 18 teams and groups were introduced through dance numbers. The teams were:

  3. Women’s Basketball

  4. Boys Volleyball

  5. AUDYO (Drumline)

  6. Badminton

  7. Chess

  8. Lawn Tennis

  9. Table Tennis

  10. Girls Volleyball

  11. AUDYO Pep Trads

  12. Football

  13. Track & Field

  14. Baseball

  15. Basketball Jrs.

  16. Women's Volleyball

  17. Men’s Basketball

  18. PEP Squad


The event came to a close with Fr. Andrew S. Bayal CM’s closing remarks.
