The Adamson Soaring Falcons continue to be hopeful with three Baby Falcons staying for University Athletic Association Philippines (UAAP) Season 84 despite losing Coach Franz Pumaren.

Erolon and Hanapi's addition as guards, with Barcelona's improving stats from the previous season is a much-needed facelift to the San Marcelino squad after the absence of graduates Simon Camacho and Val Chauca.
Moreover, team captain Jerrick Ahanmisi’s decision to apply for the PBA Draft, forgoing his final year of eligibility, is a loss to the Falcons.
UAAP 84 will see a new lineup consisting of Jerom Lastimosa, AP Manlapaz, and Joem Sabandal with support from fresh recruits Andrei Abellera, Mario Barasi, Jhon Calisay, Roger Syvels delos Reyes, Joaquin Jaymalin, Adrian Punzalan, and RV Yanes.
The announcement on Coach Pumaren’s departure from Adamson University on their Facebook page last February 16 left many to wonder about the future of the Soaring Falcons.
“... Adamson University understands the desire of Coach Franz to give full-time service to his constituents in his district in Quezon City,” it read.
Coach Pumaren was able to give the Falcons three championship runs throughout his four-year tenure, along with a 31 - 29 record and his role in recruiting Jerrick Ahanmisi, Val Chauca, Sean Manganti, Jerom Lastimosa, and Robbie Manalang.
