Creacomms faces win and defeat at AUSG's Sports Festival 2019

A bittersweet day for COMM-unity as the Men's Volleyball Team won against JMA (Junior Marketing Association) while the Men's Basketball Team lost to AUMEGA (Adamson University Mining Engineering and Geology Association), both on February 2.

The CreaComms' Men's Volleyball team almost had a default due to incomplete players. Fortunately, the six-player team was completed two minutes before pushing the planned decision.

According to captain ball Korven Famadulan, it was difficult for them to play because of the blinding sun. Despite this, Famadulan was able to perform smoothly throughout the match.

Another player, Van Manguera, supported Famadulan's statement, saying the second set was unfavorable for them because they were under the heat of the sun.

"Second set unfavorable yung court namin kasi nakatutok yung araw sa amin".

Against all odds, it ended with the score of 25-16.

Team CreaComms also almost lost their chance to compete as well because of incomplete basketball attire but the opposing team and event organizers decided to let the game proceed.

Since the first quarter, the team found it difficult to score against their opponent. Captain ball Dexter Ramos tried to uplift his teammates spirits after the loss, saying, "Bawi na lang next time." The buzzer ended with a 53-21 score.
