The Creative Communicators Society of Adamson University (CreaCommS) gave encouragement to the COMMunity amid the challenges during the pandemic through an online event titled "Pause and Reflect: Recognizing God's Presence in Today's Challenges."
Motivational speaker Mr. Philip “Kuya Lep” Sumarez began the seminar with the question “are you tired?”, while tagging the event as a “break session” for the attendees.

“Stop carrying the baggage you’re not supposed to carry,” he added.
Jolina Billones, one of the attendees, shared her experience regarding the event.
“Relatable ‘yung mga sinasabi niya, sa umpisa pa lang tanong niya ‘are you tired?’ Sa loob ko ‘yes po 1000 [times]’ (His talk was relatable, even from the beginning question “are you tired?’ I was thinking ‘yes, 1000 times’),” said Billones.
“Pero in all seriousness, tumatak sa isip ko ‘yung (But in all seriousness, what stuck on my mind was that) you don’t have to carry everything and let Jesus carry it with you,” she added.
Meanwhile, Sumarez also gave advice to various situations the students have shared in a Question and Answer segment.
“[...] pinili kong bitawan, alam niyo nagkaroon ng space and I realized there is more space for somebody better,” responding to one of the participants’ question.
The event also featured performances from klasmeyts Anikah Gail Magsaysay and Gellie Trinidad who sang the Hymns of Praise, as well as ice breaker games “Word of the Lord” and “Who Am I”, where prizes were given to the winners.
