In a statement, Marfori shared that the initial idea for the program was to make a video to disprove misinformation about the vaccine.
“The drive’s idea first started as an information video aiming to disseminate proper information and debunk myths about vaccines," he said. After gaining traction in the local community, the AUSG immediately requested collaborations with The Philippine Red Cross, and decided to back their campaign of promoting vaccines.
“We did it to insinuate promotion on the safe resumption of face-to-face classes, within the Adamson Community against COVID-19,” he added.
Despite the success of the program, Marfori revealed that they face challenges in making the drive happen in terms of schedule.
“It was scheduled. The drive was originally set to last November 2021 dapat. Kaso, we haven’t gotten the approval until January. And the go signal to do so mid-week of February.”
The vaccination drive was held from 8AM to 4PM with complete regards to the health and safety protocols like sanitation upon entry, social distancing, and wearing of face masks.

Additionally, unappointed visits were not allowed as the AUSG has implied that pre-registrations were encouraged before coming to the venue to avoid stock issues.
According to Mark Louie Cabasa, the chairman for Rules and Risk Reduction, at least 150 participants can be accommodated in the said program.
On the other hand, CREACOMMS President Nitz Tan, who was a vaccinee, shared her experience in which she said that the program was organized and handled well.
“The participants were guided throughout the vaccination process, and made sure na observed pa rin yung social distancing even if dumadami na yung tao,”she said.
Tan added that the team was also able to share information about the happenings during the drive.
“Complete equipment din sila doon to spread the word on what’s happening na within the vaccination drive,” she added.
According to AUSG President Jason P. Marfori, the event was made possible with the help and collaboration of The Philippine Red Cross – Manila Chapter, AdU Center for Help Services and his Committees who helped make the event come into fruition.
The AUSG have claimed a somehow complete effectiveness for their campaign on Ligtas Balik Eskwela and promotion of COVID-19 Vaccination, within the Adamsonian Community.
