The Creative Communicators Society (CreaCommS) of Adamson University conducted its outreach activity to inspire the youth of Barangay 734 of Estero de Paco in Manila at the AUSG Hall, February 29.
Titled “COMMPLETE FEELS: Inspiring Young Dreamers,” the program aimed to motivate the participants to continue believing in and striving for their goals in life, and to develop themselves to make an impact in the society.
The participants, children of various ages, took part in fun activities that focused on how the skills and creativity of Communication students of the university can be used to inspire the youth.
Jenica Villanueva, Outreach Director of CreaCommS, stated that the wisdom behind the theme is “the acknowledgement that while we believe that the shaping of the future belongs to the youth, we must also exert efforts in supporting their dreams.”
“The activity also wished to have the participants realize what they want for themselves in the future and what they should do to fulfill these goals,” she added.
Despite the problems encountered in preparing for the event involving few entries from the Communication students and the suspension of on and off-campus activities due to the coronavirus outbreak, the event was carried out successfully.
For Villanueva, the execution of the event was successful because “the program was followed and each sub-activity fitted for the time allocated for the entire event.”
The next event of the organization titled “MINIMUS: Living Life with Benefits” is slated March 7 at the Computer Science AVR.
