After its hiatus for a year, The Creative Communicators Society of Adamson University (CreaCommS) is now ready as ever to venture and carry out their service.
CreaCommS, the Communication Arts’ student organization, has welcomed its new set of officers by the end of second semester A.Y. 2016 - 2017 and is being spearheaded by the newly-elected president Kris John "Jay" Magdaong.

Jay, a current 4th year student, agreed right away when asked for an interview and willingly imparted the story of his unanticipated achievement. He said he was astonished when informed of winning the position via landslide victory.
“Well, I always aspire to be a student leader but not to the extent to be a president, ano lang kasi, nung sinabi ko na tatakbo ako as an officer most of my friends and classmates told me na bakit di pa ako mag president so if they see some potential in me, I think I need to step up since senior na rin naman ako, parang kailangan ko rin magtrust sa sarili ko. (Well, I always aspire to be a student leader but not to the extent to be a president, it’s just that, when I thought of running as an officer most of my friends and classmates told me why not try to run as a president, so if they see some potential in me I think I need to step up since I’m already a senior student so I must trust myself)”,
when asked what pushed him to pursue the designation.
He enthusiastically shared the upcoming projects and programs the whole COMMunity must look out for. He said all of their proposed events aim to help the communication students recognize their potential and further hone their skills on their desired fields in the industry.
The said student league also wishes to assist the Communication Department in its objective of attaining the Level 4 Accreditation so to make it a Center for Development and hence to better the degree program being offered.

It also extends its effort to reach out to the COMMunity in order to address any issues or concerns easier and to boost their confidence both on the organization and the department.
Quoting Jay, “Well, basically, we are all student leaders and with that mauuna yung pagiging student bago yung pagiging leader so alam namin kung ano yung pakiramdam ng estudyante and mas dadali naming maaaddress yung mga problems nila and mas madali naming nakakausap yung mga concerned na tao kasi ano eh alam na naman yung nangyayari eh, so we feel you guys. (Well, basically, we are all student leaders and with that being a student comes first before being a leader thus we know what the students feel and we could address the problems easier and to talk to the concerned people faster, so we feel you guys.)”
Although there always are criticisms and expectations one cannot appease, Jay said that he and his co-officers use it as an inspiration to improve and be the best on whatever they do.
