FALCONS CELEBRATE WELCOME WEEK 2K17

In line with this year’s welcome party for freshmen and transferees of Adamson University (AdU), the Adamson University Student Government (AUSG), in coordination with the Office for Student Affairs (OSA), launched this year’s “Welcome Week” themed “Soaring beyond Boundaries and Breakthroughs”at St. Therese Quadrangle from July 10- 14.


To begin the welcome week the presentation of booths by different colleges were held at ST Driveway from July 10 to 11 while the Student Organization’s Activation and Recruitment (SOAR) commenced their recruitment and membership drive for academic, non-academic and socio-civic organizations until July 13 to all Adamson college students who wants to join.


On the last day of the welcome week Ground Zero and Awarding ceremony for the best booth for SOAR membership drive and College Council took place at the ST Quadrangle in the afternoon together with the participation of the AUSG officers.


To officially end the fete, blue and white shirts dominated the ST Grounds for the “Rock back to School” concert where local and homegrown bands such as Room 14, VIIXI, 6Cyclemind, Gracenote, Banda ni Kleggy, Autotelic,Stellar, Jensen and the Flips, Moonstar88 and DJ Marion Angelo performed to give way for the replacement of Tatak Adamson that has been a tradition of AdU in welcoming the freshmen and transferee students.
