GINOO AND BINIBINING KOMUNIKASYON CANDIDATE EXPRESSES THEIR ADVOCACIES

The first Ginoo at Binibining Komunikasyon candidates had their own advocacy during the seventh General Assembly of Communication Department.


The candidates had the chance to explain their advocacy while wearing their futuristic vesture in front of the judges and fellow students.


First candidate and fourth year students, Jhem Pangilinan and Daphne Celucia, urged everyone to stop film piracy and lessen the crimes in the country.

Second candidate and junior students, Aldrich Dabao and Rainier Posadas, advocated that advertising agency should not use people's body to promote their products.


Third candidate and second year students, John Nikkie Chew and Rochelle Anne Ycasas, gave the importance of theater arts and encouraged Filipino people to express themselves freely as a reflection of our beautiful country.


Fourth candidate and senior students, Charles Dagdag and Trisha Maingat, shared that newspaper is not a dying media and people get valuable information in gazettes.


Fifth candidate and third year students, Jose Gabriel Flores and Dexabeth Romero, said that as mass communication students, it is their obligation to save and deliver reliable news.

Sixth candidate and senior students, Jet Leonardo and Leigh Madamba, reminded everyone to stop spreading false news.


Last and seventh candidate, Mio Sison, is a fourth year student advocated to stop supporting and patronizing pirated CD's.


In the end, the advocacies of the third and fourth year students, Mr. Dabao and Ms. Madamba, with their striking and ulterior attire, determination and confidence, presented them the titles, respectively.


With these advocacies, everyone, not only students, are encouraged to value theater arts, be vigilant in writing and spreading news, and support the film industry in the country.
